Wormwood

Roman Wormwood (Artemisia pontica) is a valuable addition to your magical apothecary, particularly for workings involving protection, purification, banishing and boundaries. As a member of the Artemisia family, it lends itself to protective and cleansing spellcraft, especially when your intention is to clear unwanted influences and reinforce your personal space.

Use Wormwood in protection spell jars, home cleansing rituals, banishing workings and spells focused on establishing firm energetic boundaries. Its strong, aromatic character makes it particularly suited to workings centred on clearing, defence and release. Use sparingly.
